This policy explains what information Madhavay collects through madhavay.com and our apps, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Madhavay ("Madhavay", "we", "us") is a sole proprietorship based in India. We build and run digital products, including Threadopia and Bhavishya Malika Official. This policy applies to madhavay.com and to every Madhavay product that links to it, unless a product has its own policy.
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, mobile number, profile details and anything you send us when you sign up, fill in a form or contact support.
- Phone verification: when you sign in with your mobile number, we send a one-time password (OTP) by WhatsApp or SMS to confirm the number is yours.
- Usage and device information: app version, device model, operating system, IP address, crash logs and the features you use.
- Payments: if a product offers paid features, payments are handled by our payment partners. We do not store your full card or bank details.
3. How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and verify your phone number.
- To provide, maintain and improve our products.
- To send service messages such as OTPs, account alerts and support replies.
- To prevent fraud, spam and misuse, and to meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. WhatsApp and Meta
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., to send OTPs and service messages. To deliver them, your mobile number and the message content are processed by Meta under the WhatsApp Business Policy and Meta's privacy terms. We message only numbers that asked for it, and you can stop non-essential messages at any time by replying STOP or contacting us.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed to provide our services, resolve disputes and meet legal requirements. After that, we delete or anonymise it.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and secure hosting to protect your information. Please keep your password and OTPs private. We will never ask you to share an OTP with anyone.
9. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other Indian laws, you can ask us to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw your consent, and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. See Data Deletion to delete your account and data.
10. Children
Our products are meant for people aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or guardian. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will change the effective date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by email.
